I would just like to say a massive thank you to you and your team for the recent work you have carried out for Solidus, forgive me I cannot remember the names of the two guys on the project but I can tell you that they were excellent and made the works look very simple, nothing was to much for them and they acted and behaved in a very professional manner, they are a credit to your company.
Mark Foster – Group Engineering Manager – Solidus
In May 2019 we moved our small engineering factory, from one facility to another over the course of three days. There was mixed machinery ranging from large automatic lathes, mills, spark eroders, some of which were up to 6 tonnes in weight.
We appointed Blackmores Machinery Haulage and it was one of the best decisions we made. Their quotation was competitive, the company turned up on time, were very supportive, and nothing was too much trouble. We can’t speak highly enough of the team from Yeovil and should we want to move factories again (god forbid!) there is only one company we would turn to.
John Stooke. Project Manager. Alpunch Tooling, Swindon
Blackmores were on-site promptly and worked solidly through the day to remove our redundant unit and install the new equipment efficiently and safely.
All of the Blackmores staff that I have met over recent years have all been extremely helpful and I feel it only right that praise should be given where it is warranted and Blackmores certainly deserve it for an excellent job done to help us complete the installation.

Thank you for the help and service received.
It made a big difference having knowledgeable movers who made the daunting project for a small business so much easier.
Kim Ward – Scale Model Makers
We were most impressed and satisfied with the machinery movements that Rees and his team carried out for our company. Several very large and awkward loads were made to look so easy. The team has some exceptional equipment to carry out the job safely and efficiently. Unforeseen issues were dealt with professionally and swiftly and nothing too much trouble including extra works which had not been scheduled. The Blackmores team are a credit to the company and we will most certainly use again and recommend to anyone.
Well done to all the team.
Contacted Blackmore’s machinery Haulage without hesitation recently due to the exceptional standards from dealings on handling our machinery removals in the past, yet again the service exceeded all expectations, will certainly be using Blackmores in the future and would highly recommend this company for any future projects.
Thank you to Wayne and all the team at Blackmores Machinery Haulage Ltd.
As one of the major laundry equipment suppliers to industrial laundries in the UK and Ireland, we often need to call on Blackmores for assistance during machinery installations. The assistance required ranges from simply supplying additional manpower through to specialist machinery (the Versa-lift really comes in handy on some of our larger machines) or in the form of problem solving for more the more challenging installations. Whether this request has been submitted during the planning stages or in response to last minute changes,
Wayne and his team have never let us down. I can’t recommend Blackmores highly enough. “
Girbau UK have been using Blackmores services for many years and have always received a professional approach to all projects.
We regularly come up against unique challenges and complex installations throughout the UK, Blackmores have always approached the situations with the can do attitude that allows the process to run smoothly.
I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody in the future.
As the only distributors of CB Ferrari machine tools in the UK, we would like to send our thanks to you and your team for having moved 3 machines to our customer.
You did an excellent professional job, on time and no fuss. It is not easy to find true experts in machine moving, but your team certainly are.
We will certainly use you again. Thank you
Blackmores have always been competitive, on time, friendly and professional.
We have used Blackmores on a significant number of projects over the last few years and every time they have delivered both in terms of their professionalism and their ability to just sort it. Nothing is ever a problem and every member of the team is helpful and courteous.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Blackmores, in fact I do on a regular basis.
Clarks have been using Blackmores to move shoemaking machinery for many years. In my experience the team of engineers are always very professional, friendly and courteous. Nothing is too much trouble and they’ll always find a way to get around that little issue, using their knowledge, experience and a good portion of common sense. In short – they get the job done effectively, efficiently and safely – you always feel you’re in good hands.
Right from our initial site meeting Blackmores instilled us with confidence.
They provided a pragmatic and safe plan for the timing and execution of our factory move and provided all requested risk assessments etc in good time. The move went without a hitch, nothing was a problem and all equipment started up without incident.
The guys were a joy to have on site and assisted in siting the machinery exactly as we required and adhered to all site rules without question. I wouldn’t hesitate in using their services again if I had to carry out a similar project.
Parker Hannifin commissioned Blackmores to support some large productivity improvements across the site & came highly recommended. The up front support was great & the crew have an excellent work ethic, ability to flex & safe working practices
Cannot recommend highly enough.
We have used Blackmores on numerous occasions, a great team, very professional & efficient who made our machine haulage very simple with little fuss, we would recommend without hesitation.
I would just like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all the staff at Blackmores.
We are a sub-contract machine shop with a variety of manual and cnc machines which require a great deal of care to move also our last premises was very small with limited access.
I thought that moving our factory would be the worst part of our re-location, but as it turned out it went seamlessly to the point of having a machine running on the first day.
The guys were amazing, professional and very patient! I would gladly recommend Blackmores to anyone considering heavy plant removals.
